Zero G Experience and Motion Sickness

Zero gravity is no longer just for astronauts. You can experience pure weightlessness by hopping aboard a Boeing 727 G-Force One aircraft. A company known as Zero G is offering rides on this specially converted airplane to produce what feels like a zero-gravity experience. Guests flip, twist, and twirl with their friends in the hull of this mighty airship. As exciting as this opportunity may seem, gliding through the air is not for the faint of heart.

The company achieves legitimate weightlessness by performing specific aerobatic maneuvers. Expertly trained pilots lead a small group of passengers into the air. The plane starts off at 24,000 feet in the air flying level to the ground. When the pilot pulls up on the aircraft, the plane slowly reaches an angle of 45 degrees. After a few moments, the plane reaches an altitude of 32,000 feet. The passengers feel the full weight of such an alarming shift in altitude, with 1.8 Gs of gravity pulling them down.

Finally, the pilots push the plane over to create a rapid zero gravity sensation for 20 to 30 seconds. During that time, all of the plane’s passengers are free to float, fly and glide through the air. The company’s staff is even happy to take photos and videos of all the midair shenanigans. Throughout the flight, the plane recreates the zero-gravity sensation 15 times for a full 7 to 8 minutes of pure weightlessness.

The entire Zero-G experience includes a pre-flight orientation chocked full of information about what to expect during the flight. The staff will take a group picture of the group before they board. After the flight, everyone gets to enjoy a re-gravitation celebration with the unveiling of the pre-flight photo, light refreshments, and a ceremony in which certificates of completion are handed out to all the participants. Zero G experiences are popping up all over the country with locations in Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, and Oakland, CA. You can even opt-in for a weightless wedding!

No doubt that zero gravity will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many thrill-seekers, but it can also produce feelings of motion sickness. Whipping and whirling through the air can lead to nausea, headaches, and shortness of breath. If you’re thinking about signing up for the Zero-G experience, you might want to bring a bottle of Motioneaze along for the ride. Motioneaze is an all-natural remedy for motion sickness. With zero side effects, it quells those feelings of uneasiness in as little as five minutes. Experiencing zero gravity comes with a high price tag, so it’s important to make sure that you make the most of this exciting opportunity. Before you board this plane or any other time you please, you can leave your motion sickness symptoms at the door with all-natural Motioneaze.
